LSG Charitable Trust

The Ladies Study Group Charitable Trust along with the Annual Award scheme was started by Late Shanti Khaitan in 1975, when she was the President of the Ladies Study Group.

The Trust was founded with the aim of standing by the underprivileged and helping them find a foothold in mainstream society through its donations and Awards.

Over the more than 50 years of our existence, Ladies Study Group has stood strongly by society. We have made the effort of reacting promptly to emergency situations so that our token of help is meaningful to people in distress.

The Shanti Devi Khaitan Award was instituted in the year 2017 to financially support the education of underprivileged girls who show keen interest and commitment towards continuing their studies. Under this scheme, this year we continue to support two girl students at the Woodlands College of Nursing with their training here through required funding from the LSG Charitable Trust.

Maintaining a long tradition of supporting society, the Trust additionally disbursed twenty lakh Rupees to the following institutions and charities, toward nursing and other vocational training, teacher’s salaries, childrens’ education and school renovation, purchase of medical equipment and similar purposes to
